Pre-workout Nutrition


Ever wonder how important is eating before exercising?

Today we have Coach Benjamin to share with us about the importance of pre-workout nutrition.

Eating before exercising will ensure our body can perform better with the energy provided from the food.

Ideally is to eat at least 2 hours before exercising or you can grab some snacks that are easy to digest.

However eating the RIGHT food/drink is also very important before training. Usually before exercising we should prepare our body with food such as Fluid, Carbohydrate and a little Protein. Fluid and Carbohydrate is to ensure that we have sufficient energy to last throughout the exercising period. Protein will help to provide energy to the muscles when there’s insufficient carbohydrate and fluid in our body.

Some recommendation on the food that you can eat before exercising:

-Bread -Pasta -Rice -Cereal -Vegetables -Fruits

It is very important to know how to eat right before exercising so that you can perform better during the exercise.
