Jill Quek Dip., NROC, Referee, Mental Games Coach

 

Jill Quek is the founder of 13 Shining Stars and has 11 years of experience in coaching. She is a renowned athlete in the floorball scene and has played on the top international level in Sweden and Finland. Through Mental Game Coaching, she helped her athletes overcome their mental challenges, improve their game and produce outstanding results. Jill actively inculcates values and promotes character development through sports. Her coaching experience ranges from youth development to national athletes. She received a prestigious ‘Coach Recognition Award’ in 2007 for her outstanding contribution to the floorball scene. She is the current head coach of the Singapore Women's National Team which recently clinched the Bronze medal in the Asia-Oceania Floorball Championship in New Zealand.

Benjamin Quek B.A., NROC, Sports Coaching, Sports & Fitness Nutrition

 

Benjamin Quek is the founder of Dream Up Multi Sports Academy and a floorball coach, who is passionate about inspiring people to become the best they can be. During his time of study in the USA, he attained his Certification in Sports Coaching by the United States Sports Academy. He is a versatile coach that is able to adapt and meet the needs of the different profile of teams that he coaches. A national floorball player in his youth, Benjamin continues to play in the Division 1 National League. Benjamin is also a certified tennis coach. He is passionate and committed to instill values and promote character development through sports. 

Teresa Quek Dip. Psychology Studies, NROC

 

Teresa got introduced to floorball by her older sisters at a tender age of 11 years old and has been playing the sport ever since. Her recent achievement saw Catholic JC Girls team to 4th placing in the National A' division school tournament in 2016, the best the school has achieved. She is also a key player with a unique flair in Albatross FC, which has won the championship title from 2012-2016. Teresa's work experience as a social worker, enrichment trainer and relief physical education lecturer adds to her ability to handle challenging teams and bring them together for a common goal.
