NSG A Division 2017
Did you head down to Delta Sports Complex to catch the exciting finals between Victoria JC and Raffles JC (boys), River Valley High School and Meridian JC (girls)? It was an atmosphere powered by packed stands of supporters, heat waves and increasing loud cheering!
A Division Floorball 2017 has ended. A total of 16 boys team and 12 girls team participated in the A Division Floorball this year.

All the 4 teams put up a very good fight which showed how much they want to win the championship, but as in every competition, there will only be one team who will walk away with the title trophy.
The most valuable thing that all the teams have walked away with is the spirit of sportsmanship. Sports is not just about winning or losing, is about how you learn to focus, get back up after conceding a goal and giving your best on court so as to show respect to your team, opponent and the sport. Great job to all players who participated in this year's competition!
We interviewed some of the coaches on how they feel about their participation in this year's A Division tournament.
"All of them are new to floorball and they knew it wasn't easy to pick up and achieve something within a year. I'm coaching Hwa Chong under Prototype company for only 2 years now and I feel this A division journey was a consistent progress from the last A division where they were very close to qualifying. I think it wasn't a miracle that the girls got through to semis instead it's just pure hard work and dedication that the team. They displayed those values from the start to achieve that. It's the first time for the girls team and I believe that they deserve what they've achieved so far." - Coach Syasya from Hwa Chong Institution.
"It's been a very fun journey, I'm so happy that everybody's effort didn't go down the drain. Every victory we got were all made happen with lots of hard work and sweat. And there are many unsung hero in this precious victory, It's a team effort. I believe River Valley floorball had made their mark in A division, people will be looking out for us in future!
