Team Spotlight - HCI Boys

Despite A’ Division campaign has ended few months ago, we are still in our Team Spotlight series. It’s never an end for any team, as long as the memories forged as a team last. This week, our 12th post on our series we have Hwa Chong Institution boys team, we have with us the team captain – Tat Rui to share with us their experience as a team in 2016 A’ Division. We asked Tat Rui, 3 simple questions and here is Tat Rui’s response…

What is your team’s slogan?

Our team slogan is "We may not have medals, but we have a team."

What values does your team uphold?

We value resilience, mental fortitude and above all team spirit.

Tell us one thing you and your team have learnt from this 2016 season?

We have learnt that no matter the odds, we should never give up until the last buzzer has sounded, because even if the chances of winning are tiny, the moment you give up you relinquish that chance of winning.
