Team Spotlight - RVHS Boys

Last week was the girls, this week have the boys captain – Ee Jia from River Valley High School to share about their experience and journey. We simply asked Ee Jia 3 questions and here is his response to our questions..

What is your team’s slogan?

Our team's slogan is "Either we win, or we learn something. There is no such thing as losing." This has helped us pull through many moments throughout our Floorball journey as a team.

What values does your team uphold?

Our team values are to remain humble and be willing to learn, stay positive and keep our spirits high, and strive to play our best.

Tell us one thing you and your team have learnt from this 2016 season?

As beginners, with most of us having played Floorball for less than 6 months, we lack the experience. In order to make up for it, we had to put in the extra effort to train harder and fight harder on court. Our coach often told us to just play to the best of our abilities, fighting and sprinting for every ball. And so, we have learnt to do so through having low expectations and high confidence, and setting process goals for ourselves.
