Team Spotlight - RVHS Girls

This week on Team Spotlight, we have another school that starts with “R” and that is River Valley High School… Not boys, but girls first. We have Pearlwin the team captain to share with us her team’s experiences for 2016 season… We simply asked Pearlwin 3 questions and here is her response to our questions..

What is your team’s slogan?

Our team slogan is “I'll stand by you” - 'stand by you' is actually our team song and we chose it as we felt that no matter what happens, the most important thing for us is to play together, and to stand by one another.

What values does your team uphold?

Our team's value is to play till the timer reaches 00:00 and to never give up.

Tell us one thing you and your team have learnt from this 2016 season?

The greatest thing that our team got out of this season would be truly experiencing how it was like to play together as one on court competitively as it was the first time for the J1s. We may not have reached our goals this season, but we learnt many new things along the way and the importance of rectifying our mistakes after each game so as to ensure that our next game will be better than the previous one.
