The mother of 3 kids;

Today we have a special interview with one of our 13 Shining Stars coach, and it’s a she. She is Angela Model, a very passionate Floorball player and coach and also a mother of 3 lovely boys. She is currently coaching Bukit View Secondary girls and School of Science and Technology boys team. Angela plays for Albatross FC, which will be competing in upcoming SFL Division 1 tournament.

Angela have been playing Floorball for about 18 years, she first started when she was in Primary 4. It was a once a week session, where Angela gets to train and play, but its smooth sailing start for Angela. She shared, “I was always benched, and I got really upset about it and told my dad. So my dad brought me for extra physical training (PT) and I lost 8kg during the 3 weeks of school holiday physical training session. Since I started extra physical training, I was never benched again during training or games.”

I asked Angela would she wish to see her kids grow up playing Floorball? She response, “They will definitely know how to hold a Floorball stick, but I hope they will find their own calling and live passionately at it whatever it may be. I hope I can be open and support them.” I also asked Angela how did she manage to juggle between Floorball and family? She replied, “Helper, they are Angels from heaven.”

Angela describes herself as “Too passionate”, went on to add “I love playing the game so much that I sometimes skip other important events just to play the sport”. Angela is definitely a fighter on and off court; she never gives up on herself or her teammates regardless the outcome. She is definitely a player that her team can count on in time of good or bad.
