Team Spotlight - MJC Boys

Next up on this week’s Team Spotlight, we have this year 1st runner up Meridian JC boys. Thaddeus Tan the team captain of Meridian JC shares with us his team’s journey and brief experience in 2016 A’Division. We simply asked Thaddeus 3 questions and here is his response to our questions..

What is your team’s slogan?

Our team slogan is “Play hard, Play smart, Play together”.

What values does your team uphold?

Our team values are discipline, curiosity, determination, positive-learning attitude, ambition, camaraderie and enthusiasm.

Tell us one thing you and your team have learnt from this 2016 season?

One thing my team and I have learnt from this season is how to play together as a team and not for self-glorification. We have learnt as a team, how much of importance being there for one another in court and out of court matters and this is evident during our finals where we played for each other and picked one another up, striving on, pushing on as a team. This process in my opinion is what makes the whole A’ Division tournament worthwhile. I have definitely learnt a lot from this season but I would say the most important would be playing and being one as a team.
