Team Spotlight - IJC Girls

Don’t be surprise, our Team Spotlight series is still on going, in case you don’t know, we are in a series of sharing post-season experience and thought of A’Division teams that have competed in recent A’Division Floorball. This week on our Team Spotlight we have Marian the team captain of Innova JC girls to share with us her team’s journey in 2016 A’ Division Floorball. We simply asked Marian 3 questions and here is her response to our questions..

What is your team’s slogan?

Our team slogan is "I will always place the team first, I will never accept defeat, I will never quit and I will never ever leave a fallen teammate behind"

What values does your team uphold?

The value our team upholds is authenticity, optimism and boldness.

Tell us one thing you and your team have learnt from this 2016 season?

One thing my team has learnt is that defining our priorities is important. We should have focus on what really matters and not what we want to do just because we like it. We usually define a clear set of priorities for ourselves and make training productive. That being said, hard work comes with passion and commitment. The amount of time required for us to put in and make things work is important. Although we make mistakes but we learnt how to optimize and improve on them. So whenever something goes wrong, we learn how to take a step back and understand our mistakes before going back stronger again as a team.
