NSG Floorball Talent - Jun Wei

Our 2nd feature for this week goes to Foo Jun Wei from Raffles Institution (JC). Jun Wei is 17 years old and have been playing Floorball for close to 9 years. He is a versatile player that usually plays as a defender or center for his team. Jun Wei likes about Floorball because it’s a physically demanding game that requires precision, speed, and power under control. He added “I really like it that the sport never fails to challenge me to improve myself physically and mentally, but above all, its giving your best together with your team mates and fighting hard together that brings the most joy.”
Apart from playing Floorball Jun Wei likes all kinds of sport in general, but he enjoys hockey, rugby and football. His Floorball idol is Kasper Hedlund from a Swedish Floorball club - Mullsjö AIS. Jun Wei added, “He's one of the best passers around and has very clinical shooting. I really admire him alot because even under pressure, he remains calm and has fantastic vision to distribute balls and assist his team mates. He's a defender but he gets many points as well, really want to play like him one day.”

“Determined” is the word Jun Wei used to describe himself. He added, “When I set my mind on something I’ll really try to accomplish it, whether is it learning a new skill, landing a good shot, or keeping physically fit.”

Let’s give our support to Jun Wei and his team as they chase to retain their A’Division title.
