NSG Floorball Talent - Sandy

Our first feature for this week goes to Sandy Koh (@sandyyx_) from Serangoon Garden Secondary School. Sandy is 16 years old this year and have been playing Floorball for 4 years.

She is a versatile player that plays as either a defender or forward. She is currently playing for Flaming Fox that took part in our local division 3 league.

Sandy likes Floorball because of the fast tempo of the game and the non-stop cheering from teammates. She doesn’t play other sports, but would like to give Basketball a try out. Her Floorball idol is Indy Benjamin Toh from Malaysia Floorball team and her school coach – Jill Quek.

Sandy describes herself as “Encouraging”, she went on to add “Hahaha, because I feel that teamwork is more important than winning. If we are doing things together, that’s winning for me. I like to keep my team positive so I always encourage each and everyone of them to fight on no matter if we are losing or winning”.
