NSG Floorball Talent - Zhiyan

Last week was about the boys, and this week we have the girls. First feature for this week goes to Zhi Yan from River Valley High School. Zhi Yan is 15 going 16 year old and have been playing Floorball for about 4 years. She plays in a very important position, without he the game cannot start, and yes she is the goalkeeper. Zhi Yan is currently playing for Royal Albatross who is participating in the SFL Division 3 league.

I ask Zhi Yan “What does she like about Floorball?” she replied, “The thrill and intensity.” Apart from playing Floorball, Zhi Yan enjoys almost any sports but last year she just picked up Frisbee and play pretty frequently after school. And yes, Zhi Yan has a Floorball idol too, her idol is our national goalie – Fariza Begum.

When I ask Zhi Yan to use 1 word that best describe her, she replied, “Adventurous” and went on to add, “Cause I love exploring and trying new stuff”.
