NSG Floorball Talent - Kaveesha

​Our 2nd feature post for this week is another girl, and she is Kaveesha from Serangoon Garden Secondary. Kaveesha will turn 16 year old this November and have been playing Floorball for close to 4 years. She plays in a very important position, without her the game cannot stand, she is a goalkeeper. Kaveesha is currently playing for Royal Albatross that took part in the recent SFL Division 3 tournament.

Kaveesha likes the rush of adrenaline she gets from playing or training Floorball. Apart from playing Floorball, she enjoys playing soccer with her group of friends and she plays baseball with her brother as well. Her Floorball idol is her school coach, Jill Quek and she explains why, “She is great at what she does and she inspires others to do well and improve.”

“Cheery” is the word Kaveesha use to describe herself, and she went on to add, “I am always smiling even if I’m tired. I always make sure that all my teammates are doing well”.
