13SS send Trio to Penang, Malaysia

About a month ago, 13SS were privileged to be invited by Gateway Sports Network from Penang to go over to conduct a Floorball clinic for the passionate people of Penang. And so, 13SS send trio coaches – Jill, JQ and myself (Leng) to share and spread the love of the game to them.

We were all glad and excited to share our knowledge with them. It was definitely a privilege to be able to share and spread the love of Floorball across the causeway. The most valuable lesson Jill took back with her in this trip to Penang was to be able to continue learning, growing and sharing the game and life, she also mention to me that the most memorable experience for the trip was “The people's hospitality, enthusiasm, humility and gladness to play, learn and simply soak in the goodness of the game and life. And the people make it memorable for her.”

Sharing the same thought as Jill, apart from spreading the knowledge of the game, I was truly humbled and touched by the wonderful hospitality of our host from GSN and being able to witness the eagerness to learn of the participant for the Floorball Clinic was just a precious sight and moment. The attitude of willingness to learn changes one’s perspective and depth in learning and growing. Indeed, life is a journey of learning and growing, never stop learning new things and growing from it…

All in all, it was a wonderful experience sharing and spreading the love of the game….
