Jill shares with us her SEA Games moments.....
As SEA Games draws it closure for about 2 months, we can never forget the great moments and great game played during the tournament. We are honored to have the opportunity to interview some players from Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand to share with us their experience playing in the 28th SEA Games held in Singapore.

First up, we interview Singapore Floorball legend Jill Quek and have her to share with us her experience playing the first Floorball Tournament in the SEA Games that was held in Singapore.

Jill is a legendary figure in Singapore Floorball, also she was the first few pioneer players that was introduce to Floorball in late 1990s. Jill have been playing Floorball since 1997, she started representing Singapore in Floorball in 1999. Till date, Jill has plenty on her plates with 18 years of playing experiences she is the most experience player in the 28th SEA Games Floorball squad. She is currently playing for Albatross FC as a center that is competing in local Elite Division, as 4 years running champions.
Jill shared with us that she felt honored when she knew that she was selected to be part of the 28th SEA Games squads.
I asked Jill, how was the experience like playing the 28th SEA Games in Singapore? She replied – “A challenging and fulfilling journey. Glad and relieved to come up tops in the final and bring the Gold for Singapore, friends and family.” The team have been preparing for the tournament since late 2014.

The greatest moment for Jill is to finish what she has started out for. And she shared the greatest moments for the team is to have teammates who just kept going and shared their positive energy.
The team set our goal as to go all the way and bring the gold medal home. Which they ultimately did bring home the gold medal having the mindset of run the race, kept the faith and finished the SEA Games as champions. Going into SEA Games, Jill knows that she has a lot to contribute to these team, she set herself a personal goal and that is to give her best and be a blessing to her team.
When I asked Jill to use one word that best describes her, she reply – “Blessed. Because of my family and friends, loved ones.”
