Raffles Institution (JC) Boys

This week, we had a short interview with the captain from Raffles Institution (Junior College) Boys - Muhammad Amirul Afiq (Right to Coach Jill) about his team's preparation for this year A Division tournament. Amirul is 18 years old this year and has been playing for since Primary 3, he is currently playing as a center in his team.

Last year, we witness the team from Raffles creating miracles during their semi-finals and finals, having being down for numerous moments during the game as the scoreline went in favor of their opponent, the team from Raffles fought hard and finish both semi-finals and finals on a high note, that leads them to be the champions of last year Boys A’Division Floorball.

According to Amirul, the team is not taking any step back in fact they have been training even harder to strengthen themselves both physically and mentally to face any challenges that lies ahead of them. Under the leadership of Coach Jill, the team aims to do their best of their ability at any given moment.

When I ask Amirul to use one word that best describe his team, he replied, “Family, because we enjoy playing with each other.”

Let's give our fullest support to Raffles Institution (JC) Boys as they compete and represent their school for this year NSG A Division Floorball tournament and guard their Champhionship.
