Free-spirited Coach Jill

This month we had a short interview with - Jill Quek. She is one of the senior coaches in 13SS Coaching team. Jill has 17 years of playing experience as a center and forward and has 14 years of coaching experience as a Floorball coach. Jill is the pioneer batch of Floorballers in Singapore, and has represented Singapore in many international tournaments.
Jill started off playing ice hockey, and someone introduce Floorball to Jill and her ice hockey teammates that was Jill got to know Floorball. Jill and her sister, Martha, together with some other ice hockey teammates joined the first Ngee Ann City Floorball Challenge and eventually won the 1st prize.
The first impression Jill had for floorball was "Swift, fast and exciting". Being someone that love speed, Jill immediately grow interest for the sports. Soon enough to realise that her interest for Floorball has slowly grew from interest to passion. She is currently playing for Albatross FC who competes in the ladies elite league in Singapore - SFL Division 1 and also training with the Singapore National Women Floorball team who are preparing for the upcoming SEA Games held in Singapore.
Jill truly believe that a team/player should posses the following values - commitment, tenacity, excellence, teamwork and believe. Why? Because this are the 5 pillar components for success. She also believe that it is important for an individual to be educated with the following values - unity, humility and hardwork.

When I ask her to use one word that best describe her, she responsed "Free-spirited, because I love to be free."
