We are one big family in Bukit View Floorball

This week, we feature a team that unite as one big family and love one another just like any family member. We had a short interview with Bukit View Secondary (B Girls) Captains - Cheryl Tan Xi Er and Tan Yun Xuan about their team's preparation for this upcoming NSG B'Division season under the leadership of Coach May.

Both Cheryl and Yun Xuan are 15 years old, and has picked up Floorball since Secondary 1. These girls posses positive attitude despite facing strong opponent their objective was simply to improve from previous game/tournament, and not focusing on the result. Cheryl and Yun Xuan re-emphasize "The result doesn't matter as long as everyone did and give their best." The girls are training very hard and also the bonds within the team are much stronger now as compare to first started.

Under the guidance of Coach May, the goal for the girls this year is simple, to improve from last year's achievement and advancing to second round. They mention that the most important element is that they try their best every match and have fun as a team.

When I ask both of them to use one word that best describe their team Cheryl replied: "Family - Because we play/joke around together, train hard together, laugh together and suffer together. One for all, all for one = FAMILY." And Yun Xuan replied: "LOL (Lots of Loves) - We do punishments together, suffer together, have fun together, laugh together and care for each other. We will always be there for one another! We are ONE BIG FAMILY."
