Curiosity best describe Coach May
You think and thought I did not finished my title for this post? Nope, the title for this post is "Curiosity May". This month, we are priviledged to be sharing about another coach in 13SS Coaching family,
She is Tan Mei, May and people usually address her as May. She is well-known in the Floorball family in Singapore as the Referee Manager in Singapore Floorball Association at the age of 23.
It has been 9 year since May started holding a Floorball Stick, she started off playing in Serangoon Garden Secondary School as a competetive CCA, and with the passion she has for the sports it has eventually brought her to where is right now. May continued playing Floorball as she further her studies in Nanyang Polytechnic in Sport & Wellness.
May plays in the defender position for Aresian FC who is competeting in SFL Division 1 League, Singapore's elite league for ladies. The first impression she had for Floorball was interesting and curious about these stick and ball game. And why the goalie is kneeing on the ground.
When I asked May what value she thinks a team or a player should always uphold? And she responsed: "It will definitely be perserverance and sportmanship, because with that is what makes sports fun." And May truely believe in educating her teams and students important values such as Perserverance and Respect.
Curious mind best describe May as a person, because she is always curious about new things and always want know more about new things be it in life or in Floorball context. She is always on the ball of her feet asking questions and learning from others. In short, her attitude to learn is the key that allows her to achieve great heights and allow her to grow.
