What is Mental Games Coaching?

Have you encounted moments of mental-block during a game or an important game? Could you recall how the you felt? Nervous? Anixous? Worried? Scared? Not to worry, we all go through that phase as an athlete - mental blockage and fail to function.


So have you heard about Mental Games Coaching? If you never and haven't heard before, don't worry I am here to share about what Mental Games Coaching is all about.


In sports performance, it consists of both physical and mental component. Mental Games Coaching comes from the field of sports psychology and encompasses training and tools to help athletes work on being more consistent with their mental game in order to improve their performance and accomplish their goals in sports.


Have you ever wondered why you can perform so well in training but when it comes to competetion day/game day you can't perform to your best ability, the answer to the inconsistency of your performance is your mental skill training. To overcome all the frustration that is caused by inconsistency of perfomance in competetion with mental toughness training.


Your mind - what you think and believe is the most powerful assest and is what separates average athletes from great athletes. Talent, hard work, and determination combine with mental toughness leads to consistent perfomances. Indeed, as the saying goes "We often produce what we believe in our mind."


Start thinking what goes through your mind prior to competetion day. Is it a positive thought or a negative thought?
