Diligent best describes Coach Azri
This month we will be featuring the youngest coach in our team - Muhammad Azri Bin Jaafar. He is 20 years old and has 6 years of playing experience as a Goalie.
Azri started playing Floorball at the age of 14 (Secondary 2) in Assumption English School as a CCA (Co-Curricular Activities). And he is currently playing for Vendetta Peckers a Division 3 club in Singapore local league.
The first impression Azri had for Floorball was the pace of the game - it was fast. And he mention in general he loves speed and games with high intensity because it gives him alots of challengers when the pace of the game is fast, as it required alot of concentration and focus.
Azri is one that truly beliefs that when it comes to Floorball or any team sports the core value of a team or player should uphold is Teamwork. And we all know, Floorball is a team sports. The game can't stand with just 1 player on court. He mention that when a team unites together the fighting spirit of the team is much greater than the fighting spirit of an individual. The team that has strong teamwork can achieve greater height together.

When we ask Azri what core values he thinks it's important for him to educate the teams he is coaching and his students, he responsed "Oh, it will be teamwork and 100% effort in both training and games." He mention that he will assist his students to breakdown results/goals into smaller process goals so that its more realistic for students and its achievable.
Lastly, diligent is the best word to describe Azri as a person and a floorball goalie. He strongly belief that everything in this world is achievable with hard work and perservance. And Azri simply lives life with a "Never give up easily" attitude.
